I am flying out for Articulation's yearly study session, this time on Vancouver Island to stand amidst the redwoods in the rain forests. Does that sounds like a recipe for rain? You bet - how do you think those trees got sooo big. Can't wait to have all that moisture being sucked into my dry prairie skin - my yearly dash of humidity. Oops, I lied, I was out there in March for another wet weekend - but got enough sun for this photo on French's Beach of the blending of organic and inorganic. Love it.

Nectar Desserts
My latest exhibit with Lesley Turner is now hanging in Nectar Desserts for the month of August 2007. Inglewood is a trendy area east of downtown and this dessert bar has been getting rave reviews in City Palette and the Calgary Herald. Located upstairs at 1216 - 9th Avenue SE, it is open from 10am to midnight everyday except Sundays. I invite you to head out for a dessert, an art show, and a wander around Inglewood.
