New York, New York
Took my sister to New York City for her 50th birthday at the beginning of October. The first time that either of us had been on the northeastern US coast. We had 10 days of 80 degree weather and a wonderful time exploring the city on foot. Loved all the ethnic communities and finding surprises around every corner. Here was one of our favourite surprises, a chicken made out of empty water bottles, lit up by LED lights, plopped in the middle of a park. Loved the public art all over the place.
