Extraordinary Places
Canada's UNESCO World Heritage Sites
Lesley Turner and I drove up to Edmonton bright and early last Wednesday morning to hang our show called "Extraordinary Places" in the McMullen Gallery located on the University of Alberta campus. The show runs April 19th through June 15th.
Pieces are inspired by Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte Islands) British Columbia; Dinosaur Provincial Park, the Rocky Mountains, Waterton International Peace Park in Alberta; old town Quebec City, Quebec; Lunenburg, Nova Scotia; L'anse aux Meadows in Newfoundland.
We will be returning for the artist reception on Thursday, April 24th from 7 to 9 pm.
